I definitely have my own style, and while I have, over the years, adopted different items which are unusual in the extreme, the one constant is my shoes. I have scads of them, and they are nearly always unusual. Even if they are something that other people own, I wear them in unusual ways. For example, I am known for wearing heavy men’s boots, like logger’s boots or Doc Martens with dresses and skirts. I also have have an extensive collection of black and white shoes which includes things like men’s dress wingtips and genuine saddle shoes. The thing people notice most often about my clothing is my shoes, and the fact that I don’t always select the logical choice to go with an outfit.
