Johnson & Johnson has always been supportive of nurses and has produced some of nursing’s most cherished collectibles. Today Johnson & Johnson provides millions of dollars in grant money to the (NLN) National League for Nursing and the NLN Foundation for Nursing Education. Their latest effort is the “Nursing Awareness Campaign” spearheaded by Johnson & Johnson with the cooperation of a number of national associations, including the American Nurses Association. The campaign will includes recruitment brochures, videos and posters for 20,000 high schools, 1,500 nursing schools, and a number of nursing organizations, as well as a scholarship fund for students and prospective nursing faculty. The National Student Nurses’ Association Foundation and the National League for Nursing Foundation will administer the grants. Johnson & Johnson has always given us support and this is just the latest effort.

In addition to being one of the most popular and hard to find nursing collectibles, this is one of the most beautiful from Johnson & Johnson from the 1930″s. Pictures of this print were in many early yearbooks and you can see it on the walls of many nursing schools in later yearbooks.
