Teacher Busted For Sexting A Student

Sarah Banner can say that she truly did make a difference in at least one student's life -- just not the sort of "difference" most teachers hope to make...

The 25-year-old teacher had been working at Summerville High School in South Carolina for the past three years.

That's where she met a particular 16-year-old boy with whom she struck up a particularly close bond.

But that all came to an end earlier this month when the boy was grounded for not coming home one night.

His parents promptly took away several of his privileges, including his cell phone.

But just as they snatched away his phone, they noticed that he had gotten an SMS from a person listed under the name "Banner." When they checked the message, they discovered a photo of a woman's genitalia. When they questioned their son, they soon discovered that the out-of-class sex ed lesson had come straight from his teacher.

After contacting police, Banner was arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Apparently, before she had even been busted, she told the High School that she wouldn't be returning the following school year.
