Angela Boyd Holds Fake Funeral For Daughter to Scam Autism Donations
Angela Boyd is doing her best to rise in the BCS rankings as America's
Worst Mother. Last week, she asked the Rev. Ronald Chappell if he'd shepherd the funeral of her daughter at his church Richmond,
Indiana. And she told a sad story of her daughter Kaitlin's death...
Boyd claimed that the girl had been raped
and killed by her father in Iowa. The pastor didn't question the story, because what kind of mom would make up sick shit like
that, am I right?
On the day of the funeral, Boyd showed up at the New Life Church of Nazarene with an urn and
a box with the inscription, "Donations to the Autistic Society in memory of Kaitlin." The reverend gave a moving
sermon on the girl's tragic death. Then Boyd brought down the house with her own sad recounting of her daughter's life.
"People were just bawling and crying and moved by emotion, and my heart was just aching," Chappell told
the Star Press.
Unfortunately for Boyd, her brother had gotten word of
the funeral and also showed up. After Boyd spoke, he went to the podium and told the congregation it was all a lie. Kaitlin
was actually in a home for disabled kids in Iowa. But she was very much alive.
That's when Boyd decided to bolt
from the church, leaving behind her donation box. The pastor had planned on giving her the money the congregation raised after
the funeral. But her brother's wrench forced her to flee before she could grub the donations.
Police are still
investigating, but we're guessing this won't go well. She already has two other theft cases pending against her in Indiana
courts.
