Pie In The Sky
Twelve years ago a small town girl from Maryland made her way to South Florida with big city aspirations.
At the time she had no idea that one day in the hot and sexy city of Miami, she would become the Chief Baking Officer of a
company she would eventually start, Pie In The Sky. Erin Ashley has never considered herself a domestic
pie baking diva until recently. it is amazing how different events in life can really present new opportunities. Once a Corporate
America protege, Erin realized that working for herself can be just as rewarding, if not more! It all happened over breakfast
one morning as she and her long time boyfriend, Sean McCormick, sat down to sip on a cappuccino. She had just left her corporate
America job at the time, or shall we say, her Corporate America job left her, due to company downsizing, and she sat at the
table sipping her coffee hashing her next step in life over. Then finally it hit her! Up until now she had always taken her
scrumptious pies as a housewarming offering or to parties as a gift. Realizing though the response she would get from these
events, she finalized said to herself, "I should offer these unique pies to the public for sale". It was then that
she and Sean came up with the name of the company, Pie In The Sky because the pies " Are so
good you will think that they fell from the sky" and her new position in life as Chief Baking Officer.
Pie In The Sky has recently re-launched itself, incorporating, and obtaining a licensed commercial kitchen in which to bake from. Pie In The Sky is now available to offer their pies to bakeries, restaurants and for events. Erin Ashley states that "she likes being responsible for her own success" and hopes to take
Pie In The Sky to the top!!
