WOW, IT REALLY HAPPENED!

Although I thought it was POSSIBLE, I’m still in shock that it actually happened.  Pat Riley pulled off the trifecta of a lifetime.  The top three NBA free agents are now members of the Miami HEAT.  And two of those players are the best in the league.   I’ve thought all along Wade wanted to stay and would love for his buddy Lebron to come here, but I certainly didn’t think the 2010 season would kick off with Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh at the AAA.  

To say we’re now the team to beat is an understatement.   The pieces Riley puts around these three is not even really that important.  Actually I’d start to look out for all the NBA veterans who want a championship ring to start coming out of the woodwork and begin volunteering to play with the HEAT for the minimum salary.    Everyone will want to be a part of this. 

Barring injury, tragedy, or unforeseen circumstances, a new dynasty has begun.
