MARVLEC Marvlec was formed by David Hamilton and Scott Dotson in mid-summer of 2009. At a time when life seemed to be at a down slope, David and Scott saw hope in a common endeavor: music. Some may say that 2009 was a year filled with adversity and many losses. But, Dave and Scott saw that it was a year of innovation. So, in late 2009 Marvlec invested in studio time and recorded their 2010 EP entitled "What are you waiting for". Later, they added bassist Ben May to join them in their band, and their EP recordings. Ben was a friend of David during his solo career, a year or so before. They caught up with each other in November 2009 and prepared Ben for the EP recordings. They have come together even more so as team and a band of friends. Not just a group of individuals in the formation of a band. They’re a life force, simply here to inspire you and to also, be inspired by the virtues of life, and the concepts of music in general. But, at the same time, they’re all at a common place when it comes to understanding that the music will always come first.
