The man behind the mosque.

Former president George W. Bush thought it would be a good idea to hire a prominent Muslim as a liaison between the United States and predominantly Muslim Middle Eastern countries to speak on our behalf and convince them we’re not so bad, basically, a public relations guy with credibility that they’ll listen to.  Current president, Barack Obama liked this idea so much he’s kept him on.  Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is on a taxpayer-funded sojourn through the Mideast to "spread goodwill” and “taper extremism”.  Seems like a good idea.  But do we have the right person for this?

Imam is has been quoted as saying “the U.S. has more blood on its hands than Al Qaida”.  What?  Now he’s planning a mosque next to “ground zero” which polls have indicated most Americans are against.  How can someone truly lobby for us when they don’t seem to like or care about us?

If he receives the funding for the mosque and builds it on private property there’s nothing we could or should, do to stop him.  The price of freedom is tolerating that which we don’t agree with.

But PLEASE, can we stop paying him with our tax dollars!  PLEASE!
