Story and photos courtesy of Danielle Vera The Jeffrey Group ::: Integrated Communications The launch of Johnnie Walker Double Black, held at the Soho Beach House in South Beach on October 20th, 2011, was an event for admirers of quality and authentic whisky. Johnnie Walker Double Black Label, a bold and complex whisky, was developed from Johnnie Walker Black Label, whose trademark smoky characteristic has been amplified to deliver an additional rich intensity of flavor.  This distinguished character is achieved by blending select single malts from Johnnie Walker’s unparalleled reserves including both naturally smoky aged whiskies and whiskies matured in deep charred oak barrels. DJ Ozzi Muniz and DJ Ailyn, radio personalities and local icons from La Mega 94.9FM, served as hosts, along with Master of Whisky, Gerry Graham, onsite to lead guests through intimate whisky tastings of the new product.
